hello.
My name is Patricia Durkin and I am the designer and owner of PD Florals.
I am a one woman show, creating naturally tailored designs for weddings and events in South Western Ontario.
I design out of a studio at a location very close to my heart, the family farm I grew up on outside of Langton Ontario "Spearit Farms".

Floral design wasn't something I considered doing until my second year of horticulture school at Niagara College. I took an intro design course and fell in love with the art. After graduating with a Horticulture Technician Diploma, I decided to pursue floral design and enrolled in a one year course at Seneca College, Toronto.
After Graduating, I moved back to my home town and worked in a small retail floral shop for three years.
Needing to advance my skills, I took the plunge and was hired for a floral design position in Toronto at large floral event studio. There, I gained skills in managing a warehouse, purchasing hard goods and florals, managing a production team of designers and assembling large events in some of the most prestigious hotels and event spaces in the city.

After being in the city for five years, it was time for me to return back to my roots in Norfolk County and thats when I started PD Florals.
